Nice little stroll around the Old Quarter with Alex who was friendly and provided interesting information. His food selections were delicious and unique. Highly recommended.
Alex took me to the "secret" spots in Hanoi: the coffee shop where egg coffee was invented (delicious), a embroidery store where it takes an artist 3 months to complete one piece of embroidery art (I bought one), a small out-of-the-way pond still containing the wheel gear of a shot-down American fighter plane, a great Pho restaurant. He helped me bargain in the central market. A wonderful afternoon.
